Indian Court of Arbitration for Sports


The Indian Court of Arbitration for Sports was set up in 2011, to settle all sports-related disputes in the country. This was done to fulfill the directives of the International Olympic Committee.  The disputes have to be resolved in accordance with the rules and regulations of International Court of Arbitration for Sports.
The ICAS will have eight members -- all retired justices of higher judiciary -- including former Supreme Court judge A R Lakshmanan.
